Law on the Protection of Personal Data

For this reason, we would like to inform you about your rights regarding the use and protection of your personal data within the scope of the Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data (the “Law”), which is in force to protect your fundamental rights and freedoms.
General Scope of the Law
Under the Law, our company is referred to as the “Data Controller.” Within the scope of the Law, “Data Processing” refers to any operation performed on personal data, whether fully or partially by automatic means or by non-automatic means provided that it is part of a data recording system, such as obtaining, recording, storing, retaining, updating, classifying, sharing with third parties permitted by legislation, or transferring such data.
Legal Grounds for the Processing of Personal Data
Within the scope of the relationship we establish due to the products and services you receive from our company, we process your personal data based on the legal grounds set out in Article 5 of the Law:
As stipulated in Article 5/2 (a), where it is explicitly provided for by laws,
As stipulated in Article 5/2 (c), where processing of personal data belonging to the parties of a contract is necessary, provided that it is directly related to the execution or performance of the contract you have signed with our company,
As stipulated in Article 5/2 (ç), where processing is mandatory for our company to fulfill its legal obligations,
As stipulated in Article 5/2 (e), where data processing is mandatory for the establishment, exercise, or protection of a right,
As stipulated in Article 5/2 (f), where data processing is mandatory for the legitimate interests of our company, provided that it does not harm your fundamental rights and freedoms,
For your special categories of personal data, the existence of your explicit consent in accordance with Article 6/2 of the Law.
Why and For What Purpose Do We Use Your Personal Data? Purposes of Processing Personal Data
To record your identity, address, and other necessary information in order to identify you during the transactions you carry out,
To communicate important information that needs to be shared with you via your contact details,
To record camera footage in our buildings due to workplace security practices,
To plan, audit, and implement our corporate sustainability, corporate governance, strategic planning, and information security processes,
To fulfill our administrative and legal obligations and to perform the requirements of the contracts we have signed with you.
If necessary, we share your personal data only with persons and institutions permitted by the Law.
Learn whether your personal data is processed, the purpose of such processing, and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose, and if processed, request information regarding this,
Learn the third parties to whom your personal data is transferred domestically or abroad in accordance with the Law,
Request the correction of your personal data if you believe it has been processed incompletely or inaccurately,
Request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions set out in Article 7 of the Law,
Request that the third parties to whom your personal data has been transferred be notified of your requests specified in items (c) and (d) and that they carry out the same actions,
Object to the occurrence of a result against you arising from the analysis of your personal data exclusively through automated systems, or request compensation for damages if you believe your personal data has been recorded or used unlawfully and you have suffered damage as a result.
If your application made for these purposes requires additional costs, you may be required to pay the fee specified in the tariff determined by the Personal Data Protection Board. Your requests included in the application will be concluded as soon as possible and no later than within 30 (thirty) days, depending on the nature of the request.
To exercise your rights under the Law, you may submit your applications in writing via registered electronic mail (KEP), secure electronic signature, mobile signature, or through the electronic mail address you have previously notified to our Bank and that is registered in our Bank’s system.
